YOUR MISSION

As a software architect / back-end developer, you will be responsible for maintaining the architecture, server services, and their performance.

In a seasonal environment, your tasks will vary throughout the seasons. From improving products and services at the beginning of the year, to providing technical support and customer assistance during the installation and harvesting periods.

Your first mandate will be to implement a new architecture to meet the growing needs of the company. This architecture must handle significant demand peaks during harvests and also support the company’s rapid growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

  • Lead responsible for backend architecture
  • Implementation and maintenance of server services; web application, database, customer alert system, and various system APIs
  • Monitoring server service performance
  • Monitoring and optimizing database performance
  • Documentation of work and processes

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • University degree in engineering or computer science, 7-10 years of software programming experience
  • Good understanding of software architecture concepts and Linux environment
  • Proficient in programming with; JavaScript
  • Knowledge of database technologies (PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, Kibana, MongoDB)
  • Good knowledge of networking; DNS, DHCP, IPv4, HTTPS,
  • Bilingual (spoken and written)

AN ASSET

  • Understanding of IoT technologies, big data, and artificial intelligence
