BOM (Buddy of Mine) is a mobile app that offers a whole new way to navigate the Quebec job market: refer a candidate for a position posted on the mobile app and get a reward ($1000 to $5000) for your referral when that person is hired. You can also apply for a job that interests you and get the same reward if you\u2019re hired.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The BOM mobile app is available for download on the <\/span>App Store<\/span><\/a> for iPhone users and the <\/span>Play Store<\/span><\/a> for Android users.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Unfortunately, BOM can\u2019t be accessed on a computer via the app or our website. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

BOM doesn’t share your personal information with anyone. The only person who has access to this info is the recruiting officer. When a candidate is selected for a job, BOM shares information about the applicant with that particular employer.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

BOM offers a reward ranging from $1000 to $5000, depending on the position, for each referral that completes the selection process and lands the job.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

The person you referred got the job? Once the hiring process is complete, a member of the BOM team will contact you for payment. Since rewards are issued via direct bank deposit, you’ll eventually need to provide a specimen cheque.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It takes 90 days starting from the date the candidate is hired for the reward to be paid. This timeframe serves as a guarantee to the employer, ensuring that the candidate remains employed and isn’t going through the process just for the reward.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>
